Linking To Data

Linking to a collection of data is easy. You can copy the URL from the menus, or create it like so:

http://nxt.legis.state.wi.us/link.asp?{DATA SOURCE NAME}/top

For example, http://nxt.legis.state.wi.us/link.asp?acts05/top will link to the 2005 Acts infobase.

Linking Within Data

Linking to a specific section of data requires knowing its name. The link is similar to that above, but instead of going to the "top" of the collection, you should fill in the jump destination, like so:

http://nxt.legis.state.wi.us/link.asp?{DATA SOURCE NAME}/{JUMP DESTINATION}

For example, http://nxt.legis.state.wi.us/link.asp?stats/ch. 16  will link to chapter 16 of the Statutes.
